If your enquiry is for the attention of the Department of Health, a social care organisation, a government agency or Arms Length Body (ALB) or for the NHS, we will write back to you with information on how you can contact them.

Making a complaint

You may wish to make a complaint about the NHS TDA but please note that the NHS TDA cannot process complaints about the NHS or social services. There are separate processes and independent organisations which can ensure that your complaint is dealt with in the most appropriate, timely and effective manner.

To ensure we can reply to your request please remember to include a valid email address.

We receive a large amount of correspondence every day.

Although we aim to answer everything we receive, we are unable to provide a response if your correspondence:

  • asks questions about topics significantly beyond the NHS TDAs  remit
  • contains offensive language
  • is illegible or cannot be read
  • is selling or promoting a product

Medical Advice

The NHS TDA is not able to provide medical advice or make clinical judgments about individual cases, as that is the responsibility of the relevant healthcare professional concerned. We recommend that people who are seeking medical or clinical advice should contact their GP or healthcare professional.
